SIP & RIP Carlsbad - August // West Land Coffee Roasters & Haydenshapes

For August's SIP & RIP, we met up at the break of dawn to start our days off right at our classic spot, Turnarounds Beach. Westland Coffee Roasters brought their fresh roasted coffee to help cheer all of our community on and coax us into the water and the rest of our days. Haydenshapes Surfboards generously provided surfboards for First Lighters to demo, making the meetup all the more epic. To top it off, San Clemente local legend and former WSL Qualifying Series competitor Tanner Gudauskas joined us in the lineup and brought his style to the waves. Having competed at the highest levels of the sport, his presence at the SIP & RIP felt inspirational. Blending world-class surfing, surfcraft artistry, and the delicious smells and tastes of fresh coffee, the August SIP & RIP captured a unique and wonderful essence of our morning meetups. We're grateful to all the special guests, supporters, and community members who continue to make First Light Surf Club the place we want to start our mornings.
